2023 MOUTH SOUNDS Solo Exhibition
Introduction <Mouth Sounds; 口音(Mouth sounds that imitate playing a musical instrument)>, captures various forms of sounds from a mouth, ranging from traditional Korean sounds (口傳心授), delivered through mouths and taught from the heart, to everyday sounds, and the most primitive sound, breathing. It was comprised of six rooms (seven sections), where sounds and words from the mouth are delivered and each narrative about transforming stories is told, and conducted 14 guerrilla performances. This exhibition deviates from forms like ‘art exhibition’ and ‘theatrical performance.’
