Encompassing traditional instruments to singing and talchum (mask dance drama), Hyojin Park strives to pass down tradition, while also considering the original form of tradition as a part of creative work. She has been making bold creative attempts in various aspects. Recently, she spent three months in Spain to present diverse programs from Korea’s most traditional to contemporary creative performances. Solo Project 5. was planed to share the modernistic sensitivity with the audience through performers’improvised play of interaction and sound. This performance, intended to discuss the tradition and flow of this era, is the first to present since her return and includes works she performed in Spain.
